The popular cream Crackers biscuits, Beloxxi, has completed their second and third production line with Crackers production from 40,000 metric tons to 80,000.
This project was made possible by the Irish popstar, Sir Bob Geldof, who in 2016 invested $80m in Nigeria's biscuit company.
The $80m investment was expected to have boosted and reduce the company's dependence on imported raw materials which will also ensure that the prices are affordable for her Nigerian consumers.
With this increased production line, about 71 farmers locally supply them the raw materials.
Vice President, Yemi Osibajo, had commissioned the expansion for the production in February 2018 at the Agbara factory in Ogun State.
