Why Your Girl Child Should Not Be Circumcised!

Despite former president Goodluck Jonathan signing in May 2015 to ban Female Genital Mutilation also know as FGM, the practise seems not to have gone down and probably safe to say that some are still ignorant of it.

Cultural beliefs are that females who are not circumcised will not enjoy sexual pleasures and are mostly stigmatised by their peers.

There are however risks in circumcising the females such as cutting off the clitoris of the girl as most who perform the act are not knowledgeable of the female system.

Other issues related are infecting the girl child with chronic diseases, and the female inability to enjoy sex when she is ready even infertility and maternal death.

To even tell you how informed some grandparents (grandmothers, in particular) are, someone recently shared that his mother-in-law is about performing the act on his girl.

Please can anybody tell me about female circumcision? My mother in law is planning to do this to my baby girl.
Someone please help,is it good or bad?
Do I allow them to do it?
