In a press release made available to O'News Blog by Adeosun, Abdulwahab Adebowale, the Special Adviser on Information to the Executive Chairman, he revealed that this is coming on the back of the two weeks Free Holiday Skill Acquisition Training that was concluded a fortnight ago where over 370 youth graduated.
The bursary award is expected to complement the often dwindling resources available to students and provide much-needed boost.
Haven declared the process open, qualified applicants are hereby encouraged to visit the Education Department, Council Secretariat, Iworo between 10AM and 3PM daily to pick their forms.
Further details of the screening exercise will be communicated at the pick-up point.
In a brief chat with the media, the Council boss said that: "the bursary represents our little way of encouraging the students. We hope that the token will be timely and help to ease some of their burdens."
"We are aware that such interventions can hold huge significance in their journey", he concluded.
